This week has really been crazy. Really crazy (apply for only 2 days to be exact.. lol..) Firstly, I went to S'pore Flyer 1st brithday celebrations on thursday and went for my mum family's gathering today. What a difference..
On friday, my work fren told me tt S'pore Flyer is celebrating its 1st b-day and hv fireworks. So she asked me whether wan come or not. So, out of impromtu-ness (madness) and being spontaneous, I went along with her and her fren, together with wanlin, HJ & XX. For a start, we walked all e way from Raffles Place to esplanade to marine square (for dinner) and then finally to S'pore Flyer and then back again. So we walked really really long. haha.. Fireworks was actually at 8pm. But we waited for XX to join us and debated on dinner, which dragged so long (mainly becos of dinner debate part) that we were late for the fireworks. So instead of watching the fireworks in comfort at the S'pore Flyer, we saw it 1/2 on our way there. When we saw it in the sky, it was partly hidden by the trees. So we ran to a clearing just to see it. U can imagine e chaos. Most of us were in heels cos we were walking. So when we run, it was like a really huge challenge & prob looked very funny to pple.. I was like praying tt my heels wouldn't give way cos it wld hv been madness to walk back with my heels off. What a sight tt wld hv been. lol.. lucky it din happen.
Then, when we finally ended at S'pore Flyer, we were not able to catch the show cos it's for private invitation due to presence of president nathan. Wow, thks to him we weren't able to watch the show. What a nice guy!! So we ended up eating under a big umbrella outside e show venue. In the middle of our dinner, HJ sprung up screaming and this led to all of us jumping away from our table too.. She was like 'ahhhhh.. ahhhh..' Then all of us tht they might hv been a cockroach or something so we all jumped away too. Then it turned out to be... ANTS.. LOL.. We all started laughing when we realised tt there wasn't anything. & e pple ard us were staring at us as if we were mad lah.. haha.. Very dangerous to go out with hj; easily mistaken to be mad.. haha.. After dinner, we explored S'pore Flyer and ended up taking photos wif a chimpazee (me & XX).. lol.. & also sang a b-day song for S'pore Flyer in exchange for a shirt & a cupcake.. haha.. so embarassing lah.. everyone was like looking. But we posed for pics as well. It was supposed to be on facebk. but i dun tink any1 bothered to find lah.. haha.. So the night was really crazy and lots happen. Couldn't write out everything lah. It will bore u to death. Hv to b there to know wan.. haha.. realli hv lots of fun.
Today was really a NOT-SO-GOOD (bad) day for me.. I fell, TWICE, on the same flight of stairs. It was raining and my slippers were really slippery. So i slipped and slided down 5 stories of steps (dragging my mum wif me.. so sorry for her.) then I stood up and took a next step. Never guessing what bad luck i could hv, i SLIPPED again. another 5 steps. It really hurts like mad. Now my ankle is swollen & i hv a HUGE bruise on my thigh. hai.. I promise never to wear tt dumb slippers again.. AHHHH.. so painful. Luckily, there was no fracture (i hope) so i could still walk. hai.. really bad day ah..
So, here ends this week. Dun know if it was a gd/bad wk. Guess it really depends on wad i like at. Hai, destiny really fools people at time. Looking forward, next week will be hell at work. I know cos the person has already piled me up wif work liao.. hai.. HELPP!! Temp jobs really make me wonder how i can survive when i am working in the future. I really dun like working. I muz find a solution to it. I will not be part of the rat-race. I will excape it. But for now (back to reality), i am still part of it.. hai.. Looking at bright side, i hv a job. So, till next week, i will enjoy mysf. GRRRR.. FIGHT ON!!!
